1. Make sound judgement. Judgement is an act which leads to the grasping of meaning. Concepts are formed through judgement, which is a process of seizing a present object in terms of the ideas one associate to it. Meaning is the concept one assigned to the reality of an object. To be able to make a sound judgement, one must not rely on his senses to validate his concepts. He has to be able to move past appearances.

3. Be curious and inquisitive Curiousity is the wick in the candle of learning, while inquiry is fatal to certainty.
4. Keep an open mind. The world is a set of raw data cast in the net of space and time. The mind arranges this set of raw data through the categories of understanding. The mind is like a parachute, it functions only when it is open.
5. Be realistic. Reality is the convergence of varying truth claims. Truth exist in any given spheres of circumstance and not in self contained vacuums. It is henceforth, realistic to consider that in understanding any truth claim, the contiguous truth conditions must, likewise, be mulled over.
6. Infer correctly. Without a person knowing it, the mind does the operations and method of inference. A person infers all the time. When he feels empathy for characters, laugh at a joke, discover an answer to a riddle, get a sense about the setting of a story, react to facts, and solve a mystery, which are all part of inferential thinking. Ludicrous thoughts are products of incorrect inference.
7. Exchange ideas through conversation. More often than not, informations and opinions are shared in very casual and informal varieties. Such is true especially with informal conversations. With regards to what a person says, much of it is either the abridged or in the expansive logical expressions of his thoughts. It depends on who he is conversing with.
8. Keep your sense of wonder Wonder is the beginning of all knowledge. Wonder is the lust of the mind. A mind opened with wonder is so much better than one closed with beliefs.
9. Make informed choices. Informed choice is a process of choosing from options based on accurate information and knowledge.
10. Think Thinking makes the human mind vibrantly aware of its possibilities. Thinking is everything. One becomes what he thinks about. He thinks in secret but what he has constantly been thinking will soon manifest in his outside world.
